Utah has a strong history of community volunteerism. This section will provide you with information about a variety of volunteer opportunities. These
include Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES), Utah Citizen Corps and Community Emergency Response Teams
(CERT).
In addition, you may refer to the Utah Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (UVOAD), an umbrella organization involving Utah member agencies
with disaster relief missions. The UVOAD members work together collaboratively in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disaster events
throughout Utah. You can learn more about VOAD through either the State (UVOAD) or National (NVOAD) websites listed below.
